offers independent testing and support in product development
throughout a product’s life cycle.
Testing is available on many devices, including: anaesthetic
machines, ventilators, vaporizers, breathing systems, resuscitators,
humidifiers, heat and moisture exchangers, breathing system
filters and laryngoscpoes.
Our facilities enable accurate measurement (traceable to national
standards) of temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, illumination,
force/strength, and gas composition.
We can also provide user assessments and comparative evaluations
using both patients and manikins.
Our specialist knowledge of medical devices has been used
to assist coroners in the investigation of critical incidents.
